eGames Lab joins European Games Co-Production Market

The eGames Lab consortium has signed a partnership with Spielfabrique so that Portuguese video game production companies are able to join the “European Games Co-Production Market 2023” Program, which allows such companies – whether they are indie studios or not – to receive financial or technical support to develop their gaming projects but also the ability to seek out and partner with other European studios to co-produce their titles, reducing costs and opening up new markets.

Online and on-site training sessions will also be provided, all free of charge for accepted companies.

The Egames Lab project aims to develop the Portuguese ecosystem of creative industries, with a special focus on the video game production sector.

In 2009, our horizons expanded as we delved into the captivating realm of web and mobile app design and development, encompassing both iOS and Android platforms. Alongside this venture, we embarked on the journey of distributing our very own software, including the illustrious Delineato Pro, which earned the prestigious distinction of being showcased by Apple in 2013.

Driven by our formidable academic background, our path naturally gravitated towards captivating research and development projects, where we sought to pioneer uncharted territories in the realm of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. With a touch of artistry, we skillfully applied the principles of emotional design to traditional sectors like health and home care, infusing them with a fresh perspective.

The year 2022 saw us venture into the exhilarating domain of gaming, as we harnessed our mastery of Unreal Engine 5 to craft and bring to life two compelling titles for the gaming community on both PC and PlayStation platforms.

Now, as we reflect upon the passage of 15 years since our inception, we find ourselves filled with excitement and anticipation for the forthcoming decade and a half. The wonders and possibilities that lie ahead for us and our esteemed clientele are boundless.
